After 13 hours of flying time yesterday, we made it back safely to Texas. Then after 6-8 hours of sleeping (depending on if you had to go into work today), we were all up and on the road for home by 6:30 this morning.
Haven't unpacked enough to download the last of the pictures, but we enjoyed a clear day in Florence for some market shopping and a nice drive through the Tuscan hills before sitting in Milan traffic for an hour and a half on our way to the hotel. Guess we had forgotten about big city life!
Hannah was running fever and slept 9 of the 13 hours in the air. While it was sad to see her not feeling well, it did make the day pass quickly for her. She is doing much better today. God answers prayer in unexpected ways. =)
I'll post some last pictures soon. Thanks for your prayers and for sharing the adventure. We had a safe, healthy, all-around wonderful time!
